When you arrive at Kathmandu Airport (KTM), one of the best ways to complete your journey is by taxi, which takes about 10min, depending on your final destination. You can take a taxi from the taxi rank outside the front of the arrivals hall. Similarly, a journey through a rideshare app takes a similar amount of time. There are also public buses you can take, which travel to the Jamal district of the city in about 1h. From here, you can walk to Thamel in about 10min. the buses are easy to spot as they are bright green and can be found outside the front of the terminal building.
