Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was later to pick up the rental than I wanted to be. As a courtesy, I called to let the rental place know that I was going to be late. On this phone call, they told me that I had to be there within 3 hours of my scheduled time or they would cancel the rental. This was the first time that I was ever told about this policy. I checked back to all of the emails that I got, and there was no notification of this 3 hours time limit at all. The only reason I knew about this was because I called them to let them know I was going to be late. I let them know that I would be there, but it was going to be close to the 3 hour limit. They told me that they would hold the car for me even if I was late. When I arrived, I unfortunately was 20 minutes late, but I let them know about this as I was on my way, they reassured me that the car would be there. When I arrived, they acknowledged that I spoke with them on the phone, but then told me I was SOL and they didn’t have a car for me, after telling me twice that they would hold it. Besides that, when I booked this car originally, the address AND phone number on the booking were incorrect. The only reason I knew where to go is because I called around the U-Save’s in Rome to locate where I booked my rental. This place is a joke and I would avoid booking at any U-Save in the future.

Terrible, this whole business is a scam and they seem to operate off of poor communication, lies, and dishonesty. My total was confirmed to be $115 after booking (fees included). Upon arrival they attempted to charge me over $300 in “hidden” fees and even adding $100 insurance to my booking fee (which I’d already declined during booking) without my consent at the time of pickup and was told it was “necessary”. Why was I priced $115 fees included during online booking then upon arrival told to swipe my card (without them telling me the price had changed) at a balance of $465.13 during pickup? They are sneaky and dishonest. Had I just been dropped off with the intention to leave in a rental I would’ve been stranded, thank God I asked the person that drove me to wait until after I actually got the car to leave.

They didn't have a car for us. After an hour they said they couldn't help us. Still fighting to get my money back. They also gave the option of spending $250 for there insurance, or placing a hold on our card for $2000. This place is a racket.

They cancelled my reservation and didn’t have another vehicle so I had to put my family of 5 back on a shuttle to the airport and then take another shuttle to a different rental company to get a van.
