They charged me extra. Changed the price. Said those are independent seller when you come to airport and location we charge according to our airport prices. Also it took hr to get the vehicle.

Didn't get the car until an hour and a half after the reservation time. The car was only half full (didn't notice until after I had left and at that time of night I was not going back). The car battery died while we were in a funeral procession, blocking the activities until I got it jumped. The passenger windows did not work. I returned it full tank as arranged and was only offered $20. Shabby outfit, never again.

Extremely slow service. Took over an hour to pick up the car. When we finally picked up the car, it had empty water bottles in the back, pop tart packages in the center console and papers in the side door.
The service was so fast in St. Louis. They put other branches to shame. I travel weekly and I’ve never been dealt with as fast. The manager’s special deal was super cheap compared to usual prices. Great rental.

Requested pick up at STL airport @5:00 PM. Kayak made the reservation at an "off site" Hertz location (not at airport)... that closed at 5PM. There was no "heads up" that the reservation was at a different location than I requested... you would have had to look up the address. When I took the Hertz shuttle to the airport rental office, I was told that the airport lot was out of cars and that the offsite location was closed until the following morning. I was stuck in the airport with no car! Since I was meeting customers and staying out of town.... this was a major issue! Kayak should have highlighted that the rental location they selected was different than I requested... and NEVER should have booked the pick up at the time the office closed!

Got into airport at Midnight, only to find out all the rental places close at 8. Why couldn’t my email mention that. Because my email stated my arrival time. Luckily Hertz gave me a full refund.

You still have over charged me $160. I spent more than 2.5 hours trying to rectify this all the way up to management, and even after signing a 1 way contract from STL to SPI somehow you (AVIS) put in DFW and added an extra day even thought the car was used for a total of 10 hours from pick up to drop off to the location I contracted for...not DFW. I will seek remedies through the Attorney Generals offices of both states. I believe you regularly fraudulently over charge clients in similar manners and then exasperate and wear them down transfering them numerous times to bogus other transfers and finally making them give up. Disgusting and not without consequences and accountability. Quoted and signed for total charges of $144 and then charged $920 for a 10 hour rental!!!!!!!!! Also talked down to repeatedly like an idiot... How is this for a review? Imagine if this happened to you or someone you care about. SHAME ON AVIS! Absolute Fraud!

I was never able to get my car. I’m hoping I don’t get charged for a car I never picked up. Even though the pick up was supposed to be at the airport, my car was not there. I had to make a whole different reservation.

Shuttle was there. Got the rental in 5 minutes. Every employee was nice.
When we arrived there were two clerks who moved slower than molasses on a January morning. The gentleman at the Budget counter was argumentative and rude. The lady was a bit more with it but disinterested in helping very much. We were in St. Louis because my partner was dying, my son and I needed to get there as soon as possible. We reached out to the online provider, and they were very helpful. I am so glad they were able to assist us in changing the reservation and obtaining the rental vehicle. I will not use Dollar services again.

The Enterprise Airport office in St Louis saved the day! And I am grateful. Listened carefully, got me the car I needed (though it was "smoky" for my drive across Missouri, and overall I was satisfied. Keep the smokers away from your cars!!

Everyone was great. They called prior to pick up to verify the type of vehicle I needed and to give me their operating hours. The vehicle was clean and we had no issues with it for the trip. I don’t rent cars often, but this location was so very kind and just plain nice. If I ever need to rent a car I will go out of my way to rent from them. Abby was the best.

We wanted a Tahoe, they gave us a 15 passanger dirty van. There was nobs missing or broken, large rips in the seats, crusted buggers all over the passanger side visor, and the driverside 2nd row vents. There was no spare tire. When we asked to change to a smaller vehicle the attendant stated the crack windshield was not ok to rent...when we returned they said he lied and they where rented. The return attendant was rude, and said rudly after hearing our complaint "well what do you want me to do about it". We will stick with Avis from now on.
