Budget did not honor the contract i had booked through Kayak and Priceline and charged me about 20% more, saying that the initial contract had had a mistake. I am planning to contest that decision. Picking up the car was chaotic and took a lot of time. The van took a hell of a long time to pick me up from the airport and then the offices were packed, the employees stressed, and though they made me sign a rental contract, they did not give me a copy of the contract I had signed. This has never happened to me before with any rental car. It is now two days after i returned the car, and they still have not sent me the final billing.

Pickup in LAX was hideous. Extremely long line and wait time. Over an hour. Ridiculous. Never rent from Budget again.

Picking the car up took a LONG time (there was a long line and not a lot of folks working). Additionally, the price Kayak quotes and the final price is NEVER the same. The actual price was much higher than what Kayak quoted due to "admin fees" and "additional costs" that Kayak didn't quote.

My biggest complaint was there was nobody there to go over the vehicle with me any damage prior to me taking delivery they told me just to take a picture of it Vehicles check engine light was on they said it's fine no worries Really didn't give me a warm and fuzzy

They tried to charge us more than our confirmation order price. They added insurance that we already had. They wouldn’t explain what all the fees were. And just kept telling us to sign the paperwork before we agreed on a price!
