Dear Mister/Miss, I would like to complain about the treatment I was subjected to in connection with my check-in in the Maldives for an Air Asia flight FD 176 to Don Mueang 12.30 H4GK2P. Your staff denied me access to the plane unless I had a ticket out of Thailand. So I had to sit on the floor and buy a ticket to Copenhagen. I am retired and prefer to spend the Danish winter under warmer climes. I have visited Thailand 6 times before, on a one-way ticket with no problems. As a Danish citizen, I can legally stay in Thailand for 40 days, and can have my stay extended by 30 days by going to immigration and paying 2000 Baht. The problem is obviously that your employees are not properly informed. She could just look at the stamps in my passport as I told her. Because it is not her job to decide when I will return home to Denmark. I travel home when the weather has warmed up a bit. This winter I have visited Turkey, Kenya, Tanzania, Langkawi in Malaysia on a one-way ticket, from where I sailed on a yacht to the Maldives. Best regards, Peter Brinkholt
