Took 45mins to get out the garage. Very little customer service from the dudes working there, seemed to want to quickly get rid of you and didn't read the booking. Super odd rental experience.

Vehicle had not been cleaned after the previous rental. They ran out of cars and gave me an uncomfortable to ride in truck. I returned the vehicle with a full tank (also noted on the return invoice) and they still charged me a $17.99 refueling charge. I called customer service and asked for a refund of the refueling charge which they promptly credited to my account. The customer service representative volunteered that their system is set up to automatically add this fee for rentals driven less than 75 miles. That’s not in the rental agreement. Lower price than competitors, but annoying experience.

The rental office turned away multiple people with reservations because they had no cars! We got lucky and got the 1 car that was delivered. Poor communications: I asked to modify the reservation for a later return but they didn’t and charged me a late fee on top of extra hours. Never emailed or gave me a receipt. But the car we got was in fine condition, no problems.

I was charged almost double for a car that was terrible - the original pick up point (that I booked) didn't have a car available - had to get a $70 uber to next pick up location and then I was charged $770 for the week vs the agreed price of $400 - terrible service. I was also just handed a set of keys and told it was in the car park somewhere - so had to search through around 600 cars to find the car.

Horrible. Took well over an hour to obtain the rental when we arrived at the airport - they had one person at the desk and well over 20 customers waiting in line. A very frustrating experience.
The rental address was far from the airport, they don’t have available shuttle service, except you have to call for a pickup from there office, they charge extra payment in addition to the payment I made online

Price was good, offsite pickup and dropoff was a pain. Shuttle at pickup took way too long. Driver missed our drop off at terminal on return because he was talking and not paying attention. Will likely not use Payless again

I didn't like the fact that you guys take people money for booking rentals car off their cards an leave the people stuck when the car rental place doesn't take a certain credit card an you guys get paid for a service that was never fulfilled because I didn't get a car an I would like my refund I did receive any service I guess long as you people get payed it's OK .you should let the people know that they will need a major credit card when picking up a car unsatisfied customer

The rental could not have been better. However, at this point, I’m not sure if they are charging me for the use of the battery on the electric car. I thought I was going to save money because I did not have to pay for gas. I was not informed in advance of any charge for the electric car as far as use of the batteries concerns. I’m still waiting to see the results on my credit card charge.

Absolutely awful. Reservation wasn't able to be moved from downtown Philadelphia to the airport location. The downtown location closed at 4 but our flight was delayed so we were unable to get there on time. Guy at the desk at the airport hertz straight up told us he can't help us. Didn't attempt anything. Ended up paying TWENTY NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS for a reservation I made that was supposed to be $900. Dumpster fire of a situation and won't be using kayak for this ever again. Nor Hertz for that matter. Get bent.

I got to the pick up location and was told that they didn't have any cars. There was no email or call letting me know in advance that my rental couldn't be provided. The woman at the counter told me that the "insurance company" came and took all the cars, whatever that means, so I had to rent a car from another company.

My experience was horrible because my car shut off and wouldn’t start. It had to get towed back to hertz.
The cost of a 2 week rental of a midsize suv was good. The Hertz/Dollar satellite office is not visible from the street. Also, the time it took for someone to be available begin the process of the rental, was longer than expected(10 mins). Maybe they were at lunch.

My paid reservation was set for 12 noon stood in line for three hours yes, three hours no exaggeration until I finally received. My frontal family had to sit in a hot airport for three hours. Totally irresponsible on the car rental company.

There was no experience. Your site allowed us to book a rental car as an alternative mode of transportation home so we stopped looking for other rental cars. When we got to the Dollar counter we found out they weren’t honoring any of the reservations made that day nor would they allow us to leave the state with their cars with our confirmed one way reservations with kayak. I’ll never use kayak again.

I had to wait 2 hours in line to pick up my vehicle. The staff seemed like they were doing the best they could, but it was pretty ridiculous considering I had just gotten off a long flight, then had a 4 hour drive ahead of me. I'm not sure I'd rent from them again unless it was a last resort. The process seemed really inefficient.

I believe front desk agent took advantage of the fact that booking said wild card for the car and assigned EV just to charge upgrade fee in order to get a gasoline vehicle.
Alamo staff in Pittsburgh were exceptionally good. A+

Just finding the place I had to make several circles was not sure were to go the Pgh Airport is a mess and so confusing bigger signs with the nam of the car rental with arrows would of helped there’s no names outside the airport so once you walk into the airport everything’s hard to find a lot of walking with a bad back I was in savers pain when I got there had to wait 4 people in line with no where to sit it would be nice if you could take a number and sit till your called other than that it was good

I returned the car with a full tank of gas but I was still charged $63 for gas. I called Alamo and they issued me a refund, which I very much appreciate. But I should not have been charged for the gas. Hopefully this will not happen again.
I rented a pickup truck to move some auto body parts, I was expecting what was pictured, a 2 door long bed pickup, got to PHL and I was presented with a 4 door with a 57" bed, not 8 or 6 ft. Of course the people at the counter couldn't do anything for me, not their job. They were nice but didn't have any choice in what I got. With creative loading, packed like a sardine can with the tailgate down I did squeeze it in. A full size bed would have been nice,

Booked flight into Pittsburg International Airport and booked rental car in conjunction with flight. When I went to Enterprise to pick up car, I was informed that my pick up location was on Babcock Rd which is 30-40 minutes North of airport. I was going to Clarksburg WV which is about 2 hours south. In addition I was informed that location closes at 5:00 and since it was already 4:45 that I’d never make it to location before closing. They changed my location to the airport and increased the contract price from $155 to approx $400 which is completely ridiculous.

They canceled our six-week two 15 passenger van rental, offered us no options, cost us thousands of dollars and a lot of inconvenience showing no remorse- after 10's of phone calls over three weeks time, at the last moment, they offered us incomparable vehicles (four 7 passenger vans- it was ridiculous, as if we had two extra drivers and could have our extra passengers commute some other way?). Due to high demand and very short notice, Budget helped us some and we had to BUY a van.

Reserved a mustang convertible (or similar). When it came time to pick up the car, my choices were SUV or pickup truck. My opinion, false advertising. Either don't offer what you can't deliver. Or, hold that specific vehicle in reserve, for such reservations. Quite disappointed.
The car was much bigger than expected but the price was good Due to road construction at the airport it took almost an hour to access the drop off point. That was not Sixt fault but not having a good work around for that problem caused delays in getting to terminal Overall, happy with our choice but like everything there's room for improvement Down side-we left our handicap parking placard in the car. That will be missed.

Picking up was not a welcoming experience. Conveniently the BMW X1 was not available, downgraded to a GMC. The attendant had no personality, and tried to only offer me the unlimited toll package, but I notice the basic and she couldn’t explain it. Other than that, when the car was clean, the drop off experience was great, no issues, lady was helpful and nice.
There was nobody at my airport drop off just signed reminding customers to leave the keys in the car! I am still wondering if my drop off is confirmed. It has been over 24 hours since I dropped off the rental car and my credit card has a pending charge that is double my original booking price. If Orlando airport kiosk doesn’t staff anybody at the airport, maybe they shouldn’t advertise a 24 hour facility to help lessen confusions like the one I am wondering right now
