How do you get to the city centre from Dubai International Airport?

If you are using public transport in Dubai, it is important to purchase a Nol Card issued by the Roads & Transport Authority, as no public transport is permitted to use cash; they can be purchased at the airport. The recommended ticket for tourists is the red or silver option. From Terminal 1 and 3, you can take the Red Line of the metro to go directly downtown via train.
