Cons:They did not even let me rent a car with a one way ticket. Had to go somewhere else.
open for late pick up. staff nice. car itself was a disappointment. crank up windows, key to lock and unlock each door-passenger side door would not unlock with key. dirt on all seats. over all a cheap, meaning not good quality, car.
I filled the tank 5 miles out from the airport until the needle was way past full. Hertz charged me a $20 fee to "top off the tank". Said I needed to send a gas station receipt if I wanted to contest it but all I have is a line item on a credit card statement.
Pros:The poor woman who was working there was very sympathetic, and she clearly did not agree with her companies' policies.
Cons:EVERYTHING! This was the WORST experience I've ever had with a car rental company! I rented this car for an out of state trip, and when I got to the airport, I was told that without an airline ticket, I could only take the car into four states with a 100 miles LIMIT per day! I was also told I needed to provide a utility bill, a pay stub, and pay a $500 deposit! What!??!?!?! Thank goodness for Avis who gave me a REAL rental car! Serves me right for trying to save a few dollars - it was NOT worth the hassle, and I will NEVER use Payless Rental Car again - EVER!
