Pick up was good. We even got stopped on our way out because someone had just been notified there was a nail in one of our car's tires — they brought us a new car quickly. Flat tire on the highway averted! My only complaint was the price -- but that seems to be a universal problem in the days of covid.
Pros:Once I figure it out where to go it was quick because everything was pre-paid
Cons:The signage of where to pick up the car was poorly displayed and unclear. There was no one at the Payless booth so you just had to go to one of the other booths At the rental center at Boston international airport. Where to drop the car off was also unclear. Needed improved signage
Cons:They could have cleaned the care it was full of dog hairs
I thought I was renting on a Payless site. Turned out it was a third party site advertizing payless. I had a medical emergency and needed to change the reservation but no changes or cancellations were allowed. This is not a business model that I will tolerate. Payless and Priceline are companies I will avoid in the future.
I reserved a Camry and was offered a Mustang or pickup truck or Wrangler, none of which suited the size of car I needed for my trip. And Payless was just as expensive as the other companies, so I didn't pay less, and I got a car I didn't want. Last time with this company (which is also owned by Avis/Budget).
