The car was perfect, beautiful and amazing. The staff however, with the exclusion of one single individual was nearly a crime. I would never ever rent from Hertz again, I can deal without another instance like this again. Come to think I would rather rent a sidecar to a motorcycle, strap my luggage to my torso, and hang on to dear life for an 11 1/2 hour drive than have to deal with the service I was greeted with. Hated just about everything, everyone seemed to be in agreement in line as well that the service was lacking any really meaningful employment. The woman at the front desk pissed off more people that came to her than I saw in the whole place while I was waiting. It seemed no one in line was enjoying her “holier than thou” bullshit. And had they not already spent their money I can guarantee they would have gone elsewhere, but thus this is the Limbo or Purgatory I found myself in.

We waited over an hour in line and the app to bypass the line gave me an error so we had to wait in line. Only three people working the counter and a mile long line. Also had to wait 10 minutes for a car after being sent to the parking garage. The car it’s self was nice! The drop off was a little confusing and the agent gave no information on how to get to the terminal!

There was absolutely nothing to like. When they tell you they don’t have a car for you after you reserved one, there’s nothing to like. Especially when your flight has already been cancelled 3 times and then Hertz doesn’t even bother to notify you so you can try to make other plans. Instead they wait until you finally get there at midnight and your standing in front of them that they don’t have a car to rent you anymore.

Booked a car. Got a confirmation number from Hertz. Arrived at the rental car center at midnight to find that they had no cars available. They said “if you booked after 2PM we don’t have a car for you”. Dozens of people like myself were stranded. Tried to get an Uber and there were no drivers or they kept declining. People were throwing their bags, kids were crying. Awful.
