I have never been treated so well at a rental car place. The gal that helped us was so kind and bubbly. We accidentally rented the car somewhere else and she was able to fix everything, match the price and get us on our way.

Has a reservation, only to be told at pick up they had no car available. Told us we’d just have to come back or wait 4hrs or more. No accountability no apology just rude, unprofessional. When i complained as to why no one contacted me ahead of time, and that making a reservation was literally to avoid this situation they said they won’t rent to me! Worst experience ever will never book Herz again.

The reservation automatically booked me for a noon pickup on a Saturday. I did not pick that time. I showed up at 12:15 to pick up my car and the location was completely closed. I called and they said I was supposed to show up before noon to get my car but it didn't say that anywhere in my reservation or that the location closed at noon. I would've shown up earlier had I known that was an option. Why would the system put a noon pickup when they aren't open? I did not end up getting a car and I'm not planning on going through Hertz again.

The rental place did not have my car when I showed up to pick it up. They claimed they tried calling me beforehand and claimed they didn't have my phone number even though it was clearly on the reservation. Needless to say, I would never use them again.

I had a horrible experience; after arriving at the counter rental with the reservation they stated that they were out cars, and to give them my number so they would call me if anything comes available, but not for today. This is unheard of; I will never rent from this place ever again. I had to take a Taxi to do my work for the day; which cost me a lot more.

Not all cars are pet friendly. We were originally given a car that was not pet friendly and not what we reserved on line. We took the car and drove about 45 mins away to another Avis which had the type of car we requested and was pet friendly.

Ils m ont facturé des assurances en plus alors que je leur avais dit non et en plus j ai du changer de voiture en milieu de location car les vérification d usage n avaient pas été effectué et il ni avait plus d huile dans la voiture. Et je ne parle pas de l impolitesse de l agent d avis.

I was allowed to book a car at locations that did not have cars available. It was inconvenient and time consuming to call multiple rental locations myself before finally settling on a location that had cars available, but at a much higher price.

They cancelled my minivan rental 2 days before my trip. Common practice for all rental car agencies. You either have the car or not, don't advertise that you will if you won't.

The car was really just not much for the money. Gas was 3/4 a tank which was annoying as a full tank would have got me there and It just weirdly got annoying. Checking It out they talked alot about how you can't return It dirty and you can't return It dirty but then there was no windshield wiper fluid in the car. Car was pretty scratched up and I just feel like they are gonna try and charge me for some small scratch.

I was anticipating a Camry instead got a small SUV, which really didn't have the trunk space that we needed. It is a hassle getting to the location. Uber lyft prices in the morning are ridiculous. Not sure why there would be a 50% difference between here and an airport location (unless you are deliberately trying to screw last minute travelers.)

I had a reservation. Received a text an hour before pickup that they did not have my car. Instead of arranging another I had to call the 1-800 number, arrange for another car, drive 15 minutes to downtown LA, and wait until the second outlet opened. Turns out they did not have a car for me. I called the 1-800 number AGAIN, walked to the third outlet, and had to wait another 30 minutes for my car. Given most times the check-in is about five minutes, this was a car rental disaster.
