Alaskan website was down, but getting help at counter was easy and fast. We didnt even get to the counter and an Alaskan employee got our info from us and printed a ticket. I actually much prefer a paper ticket to ticket on phone anyway.

I can’t imagine that it took 9 hours to fly from DC to LA even it’s a direct fly only because of the plane maitainent problem

What I liked: Flight was on time and boarding was smooth. My checked luggage came quickly without incident. Flight crew was very nice. What could be improved: We were really packed like sardines in the small seats, and that was quite uncomfortable. Also, I'm not sure how to access wi-fi and the "free" movies. Do we have to pay for wi-fi and then get the movies? This should be explained somewhere.
