There were no available cars and I was not notify until the day and time I was supposed to pick up the car. I had to cancel my reservation and find other options since there was no cars available for over 24 hrs later than the reservation I had made. Next time notify earlier if there will be no cars available.
Rental went great. Drive dependability was good. But when I RETURNED the vehicle at my destination I was charged 3times my agreed rate which drove my checking account hundreds into the negative. The Avis rep only said it's silly and I should be refunded all that in 2-3 days. Avis, your billing practices are both ille and unethical. Never again.

Someone from your end had cancelled my reservation. Got in at 11:30 Pm and no car. Had to rent the only thing they had to return to Toledo Ohio a Dodge Ram Pickup for twice what I had from you and it was the only thing I could get.

The car had been smoked in by a previous customer. After picking up opened windows for several hours and sprayed Febreeze throughout car. Quite of it of damages also noted checking the vehicle out also.

Madrina at the Yuma airport and the staff in Monterey airport were very helpful... the Kia Sorrento was fine until the check engine light came on and then I got a flat tire in Carmel. Fortunately the Monterey Airport was close by.

The car drop of was supposed to be Palm Springs and had to change it at time of pickup then the vehicle was not cleaned at all inside the check air light was on I was not happy because I use budget 6 to 8 times a year

we asked for a toyota camry specifically online, also not being able to talk to someone was bad, the whole car renting proceedure needed to have a phone conversation so we do not get any dissappointing surprises when we come to pick up the car, so we will not be using budget again. we were told to accept an equivalent, a gmc terrain, which we did not like. ie. the push button shift, the rotating dial 4 x 4 control knob, the car didn't handle well compared to a camry, the head lite control was hard to figure out and the whole button pushing sequence was confusing, there is way to many keystrokes involved in just driving the car, also we wanted the camry for comfort and gas mileage, the gmc had very little passing power especially uphill, it handled horible and it's gas mileage was not what we expected, it is not the car we wanted to rent!! The woman at the office in yuma was polite as she had no control over the type of car we were supposed to get, so this needs to be fixed at the management level. We definately will go to other rental car companies in the future, you have lost a customer by not delivering what we ordered.
The front desk guys were super rude and acting like I was inconveniencing them. I just wanted a rental car to get home. My car broke down and I needed a way to get home.

People in Yuma were very friendly. Car wasn’t ready on time due to cleaning it but when I got the car it was dirty. The people in Las Vegas were kind of rude. No receipt given that it was turned in on time. Car had damage on it and one would think that as much as was charged Hertz could afford to fix it.
