ended up not being able to claim this booking because it was for international driver even though it never told me that, had to go to another company and book last minute

I completed all of the paperwork online in advance and it took an hour and ten minutes to get the car. Unacceptable. The airport agent , Michelle, changed my return time to an hour later. When I returned it, Thrifty sent me an additional bill which I was able to get resolved thru the customer service phone number. However, when I returned the car, there was confusion because the sign at the end of the return aisle said to return the key to the drop box at the kiosk and when I did so the agent at the kiosk told me to drive back around to him but the car was parked at the end of the return aisle where the sign was. After I gave him the keys another employee told me to give Him the keys. Poor system.

I chose Thrifty because I thought they would be a reliable company. Instead they turned out to be the biggest scammers and most costly option. I reserved the rental bc it said my total price would be $36 for 2 days. When I arrived to receive my rental, it ended up being over double the price. Usually we are given the option to opt in or out for insurance. They did not give me this option and insisted I be charged for insurance. To make matters worse, I was given a very old car.. I requested for it to be switched which they accommodated for. When I checked out the car, I was charged nearly $400 for damages.. for a small crack in the bumper. What was the point of me paying for insurance? What was supposed to be a $36 purchase ended up being over $500. A true nightmare!!! I will never be renting from Thrifty again!!! Worst company ever.

Booked car on a Tuesday. Someone Called me an hour before pickup time on Friday to tell me they were sold out; completely derailed my business travel for the day. Unacceptable.
