The windshield was extremely dirty and both side mirrors dirty. Nobody takes the time to explain any of the vehicle features . Remember not All vehicles are not the same. Your office at the drop off on Marco island was excellent. The Orlando airport pickup location needs to be reminded of these things.

The day before my arrival in Orlando they called and told me they cancelled my reservation because they didn’t have a vehicle available for me, left me scrambling and stressed out how I was going to get around during my stay. Extremely frustrated and disappointed.

The car I reserved was available and did not have any issues during the rental. Only thing that can be improved on is the call center. I had a question about picking up and what terminal to go to but I called 3 times and followed the prompts and couldn’t reach a real person.

i was shocked that Sixt allege that they found a small mall scratches in the rear of the car which I never noticed and the inspector did not notice when I returned the car. I categorially state the we did not incur a damage to the car and the inspector when we returned the car did not notice any scratches either. We conversed with the inspector when we returned the car, an Altima.. She did not notice any scratches. We told her we had wanted to extend the lease for three weeks but we were not allowed by sixt, We then took up to 2 hours to rent another car, a Camry, which we did. No one told us we had scratched the car, 2 scratches, 5 to 1o 10 cm. Now they are asking that I comit fraud and say that we scratched the car. I will not do so.

Only issue is no way to contact them by phone and actually talk to someone. My flight was delayed and I wanted to let them know, but had no way of speaking with them. They still took excellent care of me even though I was a few hours late.

I thought the rental car was at the airport, but it was at a car dealership 29 min away from the airport!!!! They also gave me an SUV instead of a midsize car that I reserved.

The rental wasn't in the terminal that we landed at and had to transfer to a different terminal to pick it up. After a long 9+ hour flight with children and luggage this wasnt ideal. The rental was not equipped with GPS/Satnav and as I was coming internationally my cell phone didn't work so this lead to some difficulties getting around initially. The employee was very friendly.

Pickup and drop off were fine. The vehicle itself was ok, though it has some expected dings and scratches, plus the vehicle’s ride comfort at highway speeds is rough, possibly a tire balance issue. The biggest problem is that I rented a Polestar EV without realizing that the availability of fast charging stations is very low. This requires planning your trip around finding and charging the EV, which is not how I wanted to spend my vacation. When fast chargers become as plentiful and available as gas stations, only then will EV’s be viable rental options.

I hired my car for 2 weeks and unfortunately was involved in a crash on day 2, I went back to Avis to report this and was advised that my insurance would cover me, and that I could have a new car. I decided I did not want to drive as I was extremely shaken by the whole incident. I have not heard any more and feel I should have received a refund for the remainder of the hire period.

Reserved a car, settled for a pickup with 3/4 tank of gas, dirty windows and no cruise control. Told we would have to wait possibly a long time for a car. We already stood in line a hour. Not happy. Return at RSW went well.

The pick up experience was very frustrating. There was no one at the counter at our terminal because they were “out to lunch” and no one from a partner agency could help us. The sign told us to go to another terminal’s rental car counter. We had 2 sets of golf clubs and 2 suitcases we had to shlep to another terminal. The line there was long with only 1 employee who was nice but definitely in no rush. The first car we selected needed air in the tires. The attendant said we could stop at a Wawa and put air in! When we pushed back, he told us to choose a different car. All in it took almost 2 hours to get into a rental car. Very frustrating start to our vacation!

Predatory rates. They lock you into a low up front rate that you cannot cancel or reschedule and then force you to pay for extra charges at pick up. If you have any issues, I watched they tell other customers that they cannot fix the issue and to call a customer service line that no one ever answers. Then we had to wait almost an hour for our car along with 15+ other customers all waiting outdoors in the heat with their kids for cars.

The pick up took 2 hours, I was told that I was going to be getting a free shuttle from the airport to the car rental place and upon arrival that was incorrect we had to take a taxi from the airport to nu car and it cost us $110. I had messaged the car rental place prior to arriving to verify that we would indeed be picked up by a shuttle at our airport and I was told absolutely but this was not true. I flew into the Sanford international airport but I verified that’s where the shuttle went and was reassured that I would be. We needed up having to spend $220 on a ride to the car rent place and a ride back to the airport. When we picked up the car there was all these extras that ended up being charged to us as well so what we thought was a cheap car actually ended up costing us more then other companies would have.

The pick-up process was not very friendly and full of up sales. The car had seen some heavy wear and the chemical deodorizer was extremely strong. It was so strong it gave us headaches. Not fans of the company at all.

Everything was terrible: we were waiting shuttle for 40 minutes on terminal A. Than almost two hours at the front desc. All together about 3 hours till we left the York rental company. They also made me pay for the insurance which was 100% covered by my credit card. Calling my cc didn't help. They also pleasured me to pay for SunPass when I told them I have my transporter and account with SunPass. At the end I wouldn't go with this company again, choose some better and bigger company such as Herze, Enterprise or Almo. Don't try to safe couple of dollars, you will loose.
