Pros:Roger was great at pickup. Our flight was delayed well past midnight and he still took care of us with a smile.

Pros:It was ok.
Cons:Well, at first we thought the city smelled here and there. We got to the hotel and as we stood at the back of the car there was a horrible smell. We thought it was the pool across the way. Turns out the rubber seal along the trunk was somewhat detached and moisture was getting in the trunk. It smelled as if there had been a dead body in there, at some point! I was glad we got a car, but I thought the rate could have been a little better.

Car was clearly not cleaned well. No windshield washer solvent. Could barely see through the windshield.

I paid for the booking in advance, and still ended up having to pay $183 USD after the fact. Some of this was prepaid for gas, but that would only come to about $80. So, overall I was not impressed with Hertz.
