Car ran a little rough and was a bit stinky. The reason they recieved excellent was the check in and check out was organized and swift. The people working in both situations were wonderful and professional and pleasant!
I understand that prices have skyrocketed, but was shocked at how expensive it was to rent a car. I know it wasn't any cheaper at other vendor, but come on.

Alamo Representative Sydney at the Cincinnati/Kentucky Airport garage pick up center went above and beyond to help our family find the perfect car. We were traveling last minute for a family member's funeral, so as you can imagine, the last minute travel arrangements were quite stressful. Sydney greeted us with a tremendous smile and was eager to help us find our car so we could be on our way. Cannot thank him enough!
The service I received in Cincinnati was the best service ever! They were quick, kind, and served with excellence. When I arrived, I was quickly helped, directed to the area to pick up my car. At the pick up area, I was greeted with a smile and handshake, offered a bottle of water for the road, and they had my car ready and cooling down! Excellent service! Thank you

Friendly staff, clean car and I had a choice. Only thing I don’t like is the extra $100 credit card hold from the car rental and $400 required airport hold because I was a local renter. Both which are still pending in my AmEx 2 days after return.
Tried to call and go online to talk to someone about flight delays Never was able to get any help. We ended up sending an email to cancel. The said I was a no show and would not refund my money. I am very dissatisfied with the entire experience and will not use them or recommend them.

Was told the desk closed at 1100pm and instructed to leave bags and go back to for them if cutting close, ran through CVG to get to counter and arrived at 1058pm to be greeted by no one! Every other counter had reps there except SIXT. Paid $25 for an Uber, only to have to return at 0800 to pick up car.

It was very hard to cancel in advance when I found out that the location wasn't open when I was landing.
Communication is very poor. Paid for rental with a credit card. They decided to also charge me for a deposit I wasn’t told about. My credit card had a limit so because I didn’t have a plane ticket they couldn’t charge my debit card for deposit. Wasn’t aware the pick up location was at airport. I had to scramble at the last minute to find another company to rent from and it ended up costing me 500.00 more than the rental I booked. I’m not happy with Avis and will never book through them again. The lady at ticket counter is rude as well.

car i rented in Cincinatti had a bald tire with radial steel showing whih i noticed when i got to lexington. i requested a new tire or car and was told there were no cars available at lexington airport and i should put on spare tire and drive 80 miles to louisville to get new car. as this was not possible-and was. quite frankly, absurd, i rented a car from hertz. when i dropped the bad car off at the lexington airport, not only would the system not eliminate my rental fee, it added on a $50 drop charge since car was supposed to be dropped in indianapolis. i will be calling avis to contest all charges and if i do not get satisfaction from them, i will dispute the charges with amex and let them fight with avis.

30/45 minute wait. No one there knows what is going on. They couldn’t find keys to car I rented so gave me a cigarette smelling cheap car instead.
Everything was great on both ends! Their staff is wonderful. 10/10 would use them again!!

The tires had very low tread. Didn’t seem safe to me. Also the front and rear wiper blades were worn down and didn’t function properly. These issues caused me to wonder if there could have potentially been other maintenance items neglected.
Price advertised on Kayak was $400 less than the amount I had to pay for the rental. Kayak should be more clear about the total price when comparing option.

The vehicle was great! Location is housed with 5 other rentals, picking up took over an hour. We were told we got a rental with a full tank of gas but it was only at 1/4 full. They did give us credit for it though.

First assigned car wouldn't start, second car smelled like it had been smoked in (clean otherwise). Also, I had to extend my trip by 5 hours and they charged another full day. When I had to drop it off later than expected (flight delay) they charged me a late fee even though it was well within the 24 hour period they had previously charged me for. Add to that all the hidden fees, taxes, etc I should have just used Uber during my trip. It would have been way cheaper.

The confirmed vehicle was not supplied but the charge for a lower class was not reduced. The car was rented with a plugged right front tire that lost air. The emergency road service was a total failure without a satisfactory conclusion. It was necessary to have the tire fixed privately in order to continue our trip which was to be able to attend my sister's funeral and subsequent burial in a different city. I will not be using Budget in the future.

A throng of people waiting and only two workers for three agencies: Payless, Avis and Budget. Out of those workers, only one was competent. Ridiculous. The problem is that agencies don't want to pay a living wage and folks can just decide not to come to work.
