The only really negative thing was the long wait at dropoff, so just make sure you give yourself plenty of time. We got there 3 hours before our flight and didn't get to the airport until 2 hours (we were at the dropoff for about 45 min and the shuttle loading and drive took another 15). Otherwise, the car was fine (clearly had been used a lot - and the clutch SUCKED), it ran well. It got good gas mileage. We only filled up twice (from 1/4 tank each time) in 8 days of travelling all over south and east Iceland)!

Pick up from airport was not good. No clear communication on the shuttle pick up spot. We waited at the airport for an hour for the pick up. Otherwise rental process was fine.

Pick up was not bad. Drop off was less organized. We had to wait about 30 minutes after we returned our vehicle for the shuttle to take us to the airport.
