Pros:I was very happy how affordable the price rate was to rent a car

The car smelled of recently cleaned cigarette smoke, which was unfortunate. It dissipated by the end of the weekend. Customer service was excellent, particularly at the counter when we arrived. Dropping the car off was a breeze and getting back to the airport was effortless.
We verbally declined paying extra to have the car refueled by Hertz, but they said we accepted and listed it on the receipt under an obscure hidden fee. We returned the car with a full tank of gas but they charged us $87 to refill the gas and refused to refund us. Never using Hertz again.
Either hertz or Priceline canceled our reservation (they point the finger at each other). To find another rental cost us 3.5x the price. Hertz still charged our credit card!
Hertz provided great service. But I didn't realize my Kayak rental was spun off to Priceline. Will avoid this in the future!
