The rental car pic up at Houston airport is 15 minutes away from the airport and the shuttle bus had long lines in 85 deg heat. The front desk didn't even bother to tell me what car I was assigned. However the actual pick up and drop off were quite simple.
I didn't get the exact car I reserved. Picking up the car took an hour. I ended up going late to my appointment. Dropping off the car was easier. The car was good.
wrong location
I called Kayak to let them know the flight was to get in later than what I had put for the rental reservation. They could not help me. So I called Hertz and they said they had put a note in the reservation. THEY DID NOT.... Had to make another reservation which was more money. Very frustrating and disappointing that something so simple cannot be done by either party.
I was given the smallest SUV ever and the vehicle struggled on the highway. There’s no way this is equivalent to what I paid for. I won’t be using Hertz again. The staff in Beaumont where I dropped off the vehicle were excellent!!
