The pick up in Portland was smooth and easy. However, when I go to Brooklyn I went to return my car (earlier than it was due), the office was closed and there was no one there to receive the car. After calling customer service (who suggested we all drive to the airport to return the cars instead!) along with 5-6 other customers and trying to find an after hours drop box, I had to just lock the car and leave it there only to return in the morning to actually get it checked in and returned. Hugely inconvenient and frustrating. Definitely won’t be renting from budget again.
Usually I dread waiting in line to pick up keys, but the person who waited on me (I didn't catch his name) was so friendly, patient, and was working as fast as he could to get people out of line.
Service was excellent, car was great very comfy for the long hours spent in it. The maintenance needed light was on from the start of the vehicle and It smelled horribly like pot.
Agent was very friendly. No hassle with vehicle pick up. I was able to upgrade my vehicle with additional fee which was great. Drop off went smoothly. Will rent with budget again!
