Please do not recommend NextCar. The checking out process is difficult, but the worst issue is that they are only open after 9am, with the first shuttle at 9:30am. Anyone with a flight before then has to pay $45, accept all damage that happens to the car after you drop it off, and find your own transportation. As it is, they do not have a shuttle that take you to and from the airport. They take you to another shuttle area, where you once again wait for a shuttle. My flight arrived earlier than i had anticipated when i made my reservation, so I had to pay an additional $50. The first car I sat in had a warning message that the engine needed to be serviced. I asked for another car. It was a basic, uncomfortable car. No GPS. The parking lot they are in requires you to scan your parking receipt and pay for the amount of time the car has been on the lot. I refused to do this and called the number on the screen. They lifted the gate for me to leave. Yes, they are cheaper, but the hassle and extra fees involved are just not worth it. By the time the fees are added, you've spent more than you would have at another agency. And don't forget your insurance card! They will not rent to you if you do not have your insurance card with you, nor will they refund you for the rental.
