We had not rented a car in years and used our Costco membership to link up with Avis/Budget rental. Although we had seen some negative reviews about the drop off at O'Hare, we found it to be super easy and convenient. Unexpectedly we also had to rent at the last minute we also had to rent a car when we returned to the airport. We went through the same online process and it was SO simple and straight forward. Dropping it off at the O'Hare location was painless. We would not hesitate to do a rental through Costco/Kayak again in the future.

After 20 hours of travel due to weather condition and diverting our flight to another airport then transporting back to ORD, thought Budget staff will make us feel comfortable by fast process, well we were wrong, one person at the counter and nearly thirty customers online, five employees were in the office behind maybe they were sleeping since it was midnight, needless to say it took me two hours to get my vehicle and even with that they made me pay additional $300 because they wouldn’t allow me to drop it in another location, I had to cause I was so tired and not ready to argue. The worst rental experience in my life.
