Location is a bit far from the airport but lots too far. This time, locations near airport were all sold out, but price was better deal here. I took a taxi to get to there, then total cost was much less. People in the store were very much friendly for me. Very comfortable both rent and return. I totally recommend this place

Car had minor equipment problems.

Never got the car I booked tried to fob me off with a tesla. Poor staff, not interested in your needs. No desire to ever use hertz again, canceled and booked with budget, who were most accommodating.

Great to see rental companies making the switch and offering EVs. Pick up was easy for Mtl airport, no surprised fees, final bill was what I expected. The records shown that the car was charged to 82%, it was only 57%. A note was easily added to the carbon copy but I still had to stop after 10 minutes in my trip to charge the car myself in order to make it to the following charging station in Qc city. I asked to get a top up as I was willing to wait on site but since there was no charging station in the facility, I was offered to return to the front counter to pick up a different tesla. the waiting time to make it through the lineup and the risk to end up with another halfway charged vehicle wasn’t worth the 30 minutes stop to charge it myself. I understand that it was particularly cold that day and this tend to be tough on batteries, but having the ability to keep your standby EV plugged in would definitely enhance customer satisfaction.

The car was dirty. The windshield wiper was broken and non-functional.

Do not rent cars from budget. Their car are filthy and they will give u a compact even if you rent a full size. And very rude employes. Never ever again

It is an absolutely terrible place with no service at all. I am so stressed! It was my biggest mistake to rent a car here. I booked a car for 3 days, came to the office and was 3rd in the line. Only one person was servicing clients and it took 15min per client. Then imagine, I was planning to go to Pennsylvania, they wanted to offer me a Tesla! There were 3 keys on the desk: all of them from Tesla. Well, finally I got a mini-SUV, but their smart-phone based inspection did not work and crashed! So much time was lost and for what!? To see small 1cmx1cm images of pictures on the car on a smartphone screen? It is crazy! OK! When I checked the car, the fuel level was 3/8, tank was not full as per contract. How do you return with the same level of fuel back? It is not possible at all! Moreover, I overpaid ~10L for gas: I checked the gauge, fuel economy and distance and found I needed an extra 5L to get 3/8. I paid 5L, and the fuel gauge level did not change again. I did it one more time, no change and after the 3rd time I realized that the fuel gauge doesn't work properly. OK, one more nightmare, I came to the office when it should be open after 8am, but nobody was there. I tried to call Thrifty support line, but you know, all the phone line options were out of my request. Finally somebody replied to me and tell me someone will be in the office at 9am, but it did not happen: I was waiting for ~1.5hr and nobody appeared. So, I originally lost approximately 1hr when taking the car and it resulted into delay in crossing Canada/US border. Another 1.5hr I was trying to return a car. Do not use this service as well as Dollar and Hertz (it is the same company now), go to Budget!

They were very slow with each person in the line ahead of me, finally my turn, They couldn’t get the “System”to work after having asked me for my license and credit card 3 separate times. After the rebooted the computer they were finally able to print out my rental agreement. Finally the paper work is done and they tell me “we’re just waiting for your car maybe 30 minutes “ after waiting more than 45 minutes I decided to cancel everything and get an Uber or something. That’s when they say “oh no your car is here” they give me the keys and a spot number of where I would find the dirty smelly car I’ve been getting jerked around to get.

Car worked well, good model to offer but it has some paint damage on the front. Price went up almost 200CAD at the end almost 50% more than budget!!! Will avoid avis at all cost next time

Everything was Perfect

Drop-off is messy, the parking guy doesn't seem happy about anything.

Booked a large SUV and received a small SUV, promised that they would sort something out. Of course nothing happened!

Long check-in process. So have time. Otherwise everything was perfect

A bit long to get a car (45 minutes). Apart from that all was good. Nice staff friendly and helpful.
