Very Good|Aug 2023

I reserved the reservation for pick up @ 10 am. We arrived @ the location for pick up prior to opening & had to wait until 10 am. There was only one employee working @ the counter & I thought we could have picked up the car sooner. It looks like you need more help @ this location. The other suggestion I would like to make is upon returning the vehicle to The Wynn hotel we did not receive instructions on where to go. We stopped in Valet & we're directed to the 2nd floor in the self parking garage. We did this & we're told it's on the 1st floor. A lot of running around to return the car especially when u are trying to get to the airport. I would suggest your team member give specific directions on where to return the vehicle @ the beginning especially when you're in a busy city like Las Vegas.

My first time using Hertz. I will never use them again! I reserved a mid size SUV for the time and location that best fit a number of important things an appointments I had scheduled for the day. At the scheduled time I traveled to the pickup location, and sat patiently for nearly 40 minutes, for my turn to be called up to the counter. Upon stating that I had a reservation, I was told "Oh, we don't have any vehicles available". Caught a little off guard, I again stated, there must be some mistake, I made a reservation. Again being told in a matter of fact way, we have no cars. The rental agent then turns around and picks up a set of keys and says< "well we do have a full size SUV, that will be an upgrade and it will be $60 more per day". So I said< " hang on a second, I made a reservation for a standard SUV for $60 per day. You don't have any standard SUV"s but u have a full size, you are going to upgrade me for free right? He said no, it will be $60 a day more. He then leaned over to the agent next to him and said, can we do a free upgrade? To which the rental agent said, " we don't have any cars, we need that one". And so I was told "sorry, we dont have any cars. I can put you on a waiting list if you want. This screwed up all the plans I had for the day, since I was renting a car for my necessity and not because I had some free time so, Oh, I know what, let me go rent a car. Hertz didnt care one bit that I had a bunch of things scheduled for that day. Not one care what so ever. I will never use Hertz again.

First, stop contracting with them they are horrible. I made my reservation two days prior to trip, had a compact SUV reserved, went to pick up at my allotted time and was told no cars available! was asked to be added to a wait list with an unknown wait time. many customers waited two or more hours for a car. the wait delayed my trip. I cancelled my reservation and called enterprise while I waited at Hertz for them to get their act together. Ubered to Enterprise down the street. I was in and out in 15. at hertz I would've still been waiting. staff there was horrible, never explained why the wait never made any attempts to accomodate the waiting customers with a future coupon or voucher for another rental or e en offer their customers water while we waited. It's AZ it's Hot. Manager POS. was unmoved or concerned by what was happening to his customers. Thanks enterprise.
