I arrived and there was no car for me, even though booked two months in advance. Hertz staff had no interest to help me find a car or make it right. Had to walk around to the car rental places with my luggage until I was able to get a car with National. Hertz lost a customer for life.

I was charged twice for the rental. I spent 131 dollars to book it online, then charged another 220 dollars even though i returned it on time with no damages. I plan to be making some calls to find out why i am being charged almost 400 dollars for a rental for ONE DAY. As of now, i would NOT recommend Hertz to anyone, nor do i plan to do business with them again in the future. I feel I have been robbed and must now fight to try and get my money back

I had to change the dates and when I called about the refund a week before picking up the car, they gave me a run around. After 2 hours and multiple calls I was finally got a decent person that was able to issue the refund. Don't believe them when they tell you that you have to call the kayak or other sites to get your refund. They already have your money and are hoping you will just give up. The second issue I had was picking up the car. They would only allow me to rent after I gave them my own insurance information even though I had insurance from the booking site. The lack of customer service has made me decide to never do business with them again.
