EV driving in Majorca is terrible. The really fast chargers are all near the airport/palma. Many aren’t even working. Most of the charging apps require either Spanish ID card or similar or RFID card, and won’t let you skip the step. Majorca definitely is far behind France UK USA for EVs - so much so I feel we should have been told by Europcar. Terrible Experience and when I told them on return they didn’t care at all. Avoid Europcar at all costs…. Go with sixt they are the market leader in Majorca and go Petrol.

Stay away from Nikki Wilson at the pick up counter. She may curse at you as you walk away if you have the audacity to ask questions about how to pick up your car. Her exact words as I was walking away: "I always have to repeat myself to these mother****ing customers." What a gross person.

When I got there, they charged me to add rental car collision/damage coverage, which I had already added and paid for with Kayak. The charge they added for coverage was $150, and I shouldn’t have been charged, because I already paid for coverage through Kayak. I believed there was a break down in communication between Europcar and kayak. I should have only been charged what I paid kayak up front.
