The condition of the vehicle which I reserved was poor compared with vehicles I rented from other rental companies. The fuel tank was half full and vehicle tire had a nail/screw. The rental company said they couldn't fix the tire on site and has to be sent to mechanic for fix. They didn't have a similar vehicle replacement. So, I had to rent from a different location, which added couple of extra wasteful hours to my trip.

Avis rentail closed at 3pm, we could not return the car until the next day and had to park it overnight at the same location as the Avis for an extra 65/70 dollars. We were late by two hours to return the car which created an extra 100+ in fees. Car was also not clean when received.

The car works well. Car is clean and washed. Staff not friendly. No enough staff. Had to wait for 10-15 minutes at the empty booth without knowing what's going on. (Turns out the only staff went to garage to get the car ready). Car without front license plate. Not enough explanation on ez-pass need in New York state.

There were no cars when I went to go pick up my reservation. They had 12 parties waiting for up to an hour and a half to get a car that they had reserved. They didn’t offer me a toll pass for my reservation. Also, they never emailed me a confirmation after drop off and when I called customer service, they had charged a $30 late fee, which wasn’t right.
