Shuttle driver could have been nicer, so could collection staff. Not all the previous damage was on their own photos but I did have the option to add my own. The location was very busy on return of the vehicle though so we had to wait a long time and in the end just forced the keys into the hands of the only person on the forecourt who was manoeuvring several cars and even ones returned after us and got the next shuttle bus back to airport.

Had to fill out a form at the desk, when I asked why, as I have never been asked to do this before, the employee told me that because I was a local, I was more likely to be dodgey. I told him I could easily go somewhere else, but He said he didn’t mean me, just locals. Bad choice if words for him.

The Staff at the service counter at Coolangatta airport were courteous, informative and helpful. I went to the hire car and the key wouldn't turn. I went back to the counter and the man (Alex?) was extremely helpful. He came out to the car with me and showed me that I need to turn the wheel to unlock the key (d'oh!) for it to turn. I thanked him and he assured me that it was no trouble. The car was absolutely spotless and drove beautifully and it went without a problem. The price of the hire was also pleasing to my bank balance. Not only would I highly recommend Budget Car Hire Coolangatta, I will definitely use them again. Five Stars
Car broke down on the M1 during peak traffic Luckily I was able to drift off and down off the Nerang off ramp Waited 1 hour for a tow truck then the fun started - the call taker told me a replacement car was not possible as Gold Coast office had closed -kept calling the call centre till I found a customer caring person who then managed to contact the Manager who authorised payment to the towing company to take the car and I to Brisbane Airport where a replacement car was waiting I lost 4hrs but thanks to the Manager they revived the situation A special thanks to the Manager who called me and kept me informed The desk informed me on returning the car that 1 days hire was being refunded Thank you Alamo for a great recovery effort
