The staff was great but upon arrival the car we agreed to wasn’t available. So we had to either wait for up to an hour our pay extra for a larger vehicle. Other than that our experience was great. Pick-up And drop were easy.

Booking was a snap and the car we drove was great. But…the desk people we encountered didn’t know what they were doing. I had prepaid, then they charged my credit card again -more than the original cost, called their 1-800 line and got no answers. They kept saying it was my fault for not questioning them. I DID QUESTION THEM AND GOT NO ANSWERS. Everyone I encountered kept passing me off to the next person. VERY frustrating. NEVER AGAIN! They still owe me almost $300.00 😡

The pick up process was horrible. Didn’t have the car I had reserved. Despite me checking in online, the paperwork process was slow and disorganized. After i agreed to take a different kind of vehicle, no price adjustment was offered. Then, had to re-do the entire pick up process. Only then did they say the type of car I had ordered had been returned, so went through the entire process again. From that point on, everything was fine. Good vehicle. No problem at drop off.

Pickup wait time was 1.5 hours. Car assignment smelt like puke, had windows down, and a note written on windier -strong order. Car play did not work.

I feel like they gave us a car they wanted to send to another location because the car wasn’t in great shape. It also smelled like smoke. We had a miserable trip and I was hoping for a discount when I turned the car in, but all I got was a: why didn’t you tell them before you left the lot. I’m sorry for your experience.. we were in a hurry for an appointment or I would have demanded another car. This was by far the worst rental car I have ever had. We went from Chicago midway to ft Wayne Indiana. Horrible drive. Hope this note gets to somebody that will actually read this. Dale Eason

Was rather seamless. Woman who checked me in at pick up was a delight and very helpful. Same on delivery end. Van was in great shape and well maintained. Overall was a good experience.

The price was fantastic, and the car was in good shape. But the service was horrible. The lady at the desk refused to help us until our rental time. Then they kept us waiting even though there was no one else picking up a car. When we were ready to pick up the car, The people in the garage hardly gave us the time of day, and the lady at the desk yelled at us for going to the garage before our name was called, even though our car was ready. No one filled out the damage form before we left, and it just seemed like the dollar employees in Chicago were as unhappy as possible to have the jobs that they did.

Everything was fine with the car. The poor lady handling a large queue of customers needed help, and had been left to handle everything alone without so much as a break or a meal since 6am, and we arrived at about 1pm. Felt very bad for her. Still she handled everything quite while and got us on our way. Dollar, don't do this to your people!

They wanted $400.00 deposit and they don't use debit cards for intown rentals. You can only use debit card for flying. You must have an major credit card to rent a car, horrible had to go all the way back home to get credit card

Excellent service. Staff was patient and helpful. It was late at night, past the counter service hours. The staff was manning the booth/office in the parking garage. It was cold and late but the staff was patient, helpful and kind. I especially appreciated their service after my long day of traveling/flying. Also the return was easy. Thank you very much. Ethan and his team did a wonderful job.

They had the best price compared to other companies for a one-way rental. I was able to choose from 4 different vehicles, and the Nissan Sentra I chose was awesome.

The pickup experience was lacking, as there weren’t enough people working and the employees seemed frustrated.

The person attention was good. On the negative side, Enterprise had terrible and conflicting signage at Midway airport. You have to use the signs for National because in several places there are no Enterprise signs or they direct you to the wrong floor. Also, we had a malfunction warning light go off in the car within 50 miles of starting to drive our Nissan (the light was cryptic, but using the owner's manual, we figured out that it may have something to do with the automatic breaking system-- but nothing about how serious it was or how to fix it). The malfunction warning light then stayed on for the entire rest of the rental, which made us worry, although the car drove fine.

The car was reeking of weed. It was not cleaned before renting to us. We had a very poor experience. Had to wait 7 hours in the line even though we had our car booked for pick up at 8 and were there at 7. No planning what so ever, they could have just called the intervals of 30 mins booking slots and could have done everything much faster.

We had to have a car towed from Battle Creek, Michigan after it was given to us from Kalamazoo undriveable and no replacement car was given to us (and the emergency roadside assistance was absolutely terrible- please listen to all of the recorded conversations because they effectively were running us around and okay with leaving us stranded in Battle Creek) so we had to spend close to $150 on an uber to get to our final destination and then we were charged for an extra day even though we didn’t have a car for the majority of our reservation. Absolutely terrible experience, I’m actively telling everyone never to book with Avis.
