Pick up wasn’t very smooth, had to wait longer than expected.

The car booked wasn’t available they didn’t upgrade my can or give me any car Instead . the Agent’s were helpless, careless and so ignorant with me .

We were skeptical because of the reviews but we were very satisfied with the end result. We got a very good car for a good price. Negatives: The parking lot was a zoo when returning and we used our own insurance so they insisted on a $1000 down which I didn't feel good about.

My flight got cancelled. Their offices closes at 5pm. I got in on a new flight at 8pm. And was not able to pick up my car bc office was closed. I am looking to get refunded but there doesn’t seem to be much hope. They should disclose their office closes at 5pm. Before you book.

It was not the staffs fault. They didn’t have enough staff and waiting for hours was difficult. I wish we had complete information of what is needed inadvance before arriving to pick up the car.

Absolutely horrible customer service. They did not honour our reservation or give us a car. We were kicked out of the rental agency even though we got charged the full cost of the rental. Never renting with Hertz ever again.

Very nice vehicle. Clean, well kept, no damage. Only downside was the requirement for winter tires in BC which I tried to account for with my vehicle selection (intermediate SUV). The reservation was for a one way trip from Vancouver to Calgary. Sections of the mountains require winter tires by law. I called in advance to add winter tires to my booking and was told over the phone that they had to be added at the pick up counter which didn't make sense (wouldn't they need to know in advance to have the vehicle prepared or the correct vehicle available?)... At the pick up counter, I was told the only vehicles available with winter tires would be an additional $50/day. We ended up being charged an additional $200 in total to have the legally required winter tires on the vehicle. I would've thought that a one way reservation through the mountains would prompt an appropriately equipped vehicle with the legally required tires to be available. Beware of the unexpected upfront fees.

We could not even rent from this place. This place was off the airport property in a shady area. The people at the counter were very rude and not helpful. And you had to add on a lot of items just to rent a car and a huge deposit. Plus our plane was delayed and we got there Late and they canceled our reservation and said that we only had an hour window. So needless to say we had to go back to the airport and rent a car from a reputable company.

I was unable to rent because having my business name on my credit card wasn’t sufficient. I had paperwork to prove I am the owner of the business, however, I had to take a train and a bus to get to this location 40 minutes off the airport and then another 40 minutes back to the airport to rent from Hertz at four times the amount of my original rental, Was extremely pissed. There is good reason they are cheaper than everyone else, you get what you pay for I guess

Extremely rude staff. Mexrentacar is a scam. Not upfront about their policies and only out for money. No one should ever rent from them

Hi, The service from the people there was amazing. Mr Manuel helped us a lot to find a solution for all the questions and troubles we had. His patience and willingness to understand our situation was unbelievable. Great people makes great companies. My only but... it was the cost of the insurance. they charged an aditional $373us on a prepaid reservation, plus the $100us deposit which, a week later haven't been reibursed. they didn't have a vehicle according to the reserved class, they gave us a smaller one. would never rent again with them

They really push to get their insurance to drive the prices up.
