The car costed about 2x more than we originally intended because of the price of a child booster seat + fees + additional coverage that I wasn't sure I needed. It was appalling how much we spent for the car - would could have literally purchased a used car for the same price for a 9 day trip.

The first car felt like it had been in an accident so I returned it . The second car was brand new but it smelled like marijauna but I wasn’t sure what the smell was until I found a bud leaf on the floor of the back seat . So I have mixed thoughts about this experience! But overall I know life happens and my needs was met

No shuttle from the airport to the enterprise location. Advertised as off airport location however did not state that a shuttle or ride was available. If I was disabled or unable to walk 2.5 miles in unknown location and conditions, I would of not purchased/reserved the vehicle. In this instance, I had a disabled traveler with me who was in a wheel chair. There is no side walks on the main highway as I found out while paying more for an Uber ride to an enterprise location. My disabled traveler remained at the airport due to a compact Uber car that was unable to store a wheelchair. First for me in my entire life where any rental car company says “its the only way to get to our location, its normal”. At least advertise the stipulation on your site. Its decieving and unethical.

Pickup in Hilo was very easy - no lines and drop off in Kona took a minute with the shuttle immediately available to take us to our airline. Excellent no stress service.

The price was right but I don't think I got the car class that I reserved. I booked a Full-size, and was given a Hyundai Elantra which I believe is a Mid-size. The car was FILTHY! Dirty inside and outside, there were even what I think were cigarette burns in the seat cushion. There was only one person working the desk, and the line was long by the time I got my keys. We only needed the car for about 6 or 7 hours that day, so it did the job.

I arrived and was told I had two prepaid reservations, one for Dollar, and a duplicate reservation for Thrifty. the rental agent also pressured me to purchase additional CDW and liability insurance directly through them even though I purchased it when I made the online reservation. The agent made it VERY difficult to decline the additional insurance. The line was extremely long to pick up the car and took over one hour standing in line. The car was also damaged when I checked it out. The trunk opening was unreasonably small and made the vehicle trunk unusable for putting a suitcase inside. Terrible experience with Dollar, not recommended.

Enjoyed having a reliable vehicle, the staff were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Great service at the airport booth both for pickup and drop off. We booked in advance for a small compact car and after waiting some time at the booth we we’re given a fairly large suv. Would have been better for us to have the smaller car that we ordered.
