i rented a car from Sixt for 9 days i took the car at 11:00AM and returned it at 07:53AM after 9 days there was nobody to check the car in the return spot of Sixt and the only guy there told me to leave the keys in the car and go my flight from Frankfurt was at 10:50AM the Sixt company send me invoice that show that i returned the car at 14:29PM and they charged me for another day i wrote to Messages to Sixt but nobody reply

I want to rent a VAN so I was looking for every rentacar sites. Then I found one in Kayak. Kayak connected to Sixt. Only the office in Frankfurt city center had a VAN in many Sixt offices. When I visited the office, officeman gave me wrong car as small passenser car like a Wolfsvagen golf. So I asked for VAN what I had booked as Wolfsvagen Toruran. After a long time , the officeman find differenct car in Frankfurt main Station but it was also wrong car. I was very confusede how the booking had gone worng in professioal rent a car company such as Sixt. I am very disappointed in this experience.

SCAM ALERT. We prepaid for our car. Our pick-up was delayed and we picked up our car 3 hours late. The manager told us the requested car was not available because we did not pick up the car within 1 hour of our scheduled pick up time per some obscure policy (despite having prepaid for the car) and that our only option was a downgrade, or we could pay an extra €200 fee for a larger car. The downgrade was too small so we paid the extra fee after 45 minutes of arguing with the staff. I’m very disappointed in the way the situation was handled. I’ve lodged a complaint with my credit card company.

Pick up of rental was horrible. 80 min wait at Frankfurt airport due to lack of staff. nowhere to sit. Otherwise clean and nice car. return no issue.

The woman helping us at drop off was sooooo slow. And she didn’tfocus. There was a huge line and she got distracted with conversations. She tried to talk us into insurance which was annoying. Also tried to get us to upgrade. It took 1 hour total and that’s not acceptable. Other than that, all goes well.

We booked a compact car which were told from the website that was available. When we got to the pick up location we were told that the only vehicle they had was a small moving van with a large enterprise logo on either side of the vehicle. Since they had nothing else to offer we didn’t have a choice but take it since we were in a different country without transportation. While I didn’t mind taking the van I wasn’t enthusiastic about paying 250 euros for a moving van when we requested and were told we would get a small compact car.

When I drop off at Frankfurt,Idid full fuel and returned. but I was claimed by in-charge lady staff that fuel was half , in addition they rushed to get off from car, I could not check my baggage. I left my cloth in the car.

I like the fact that they gave automatic. They charged me numerous times extra to include mileage that was agreed upon to be unlimited. 3 different charges that total close to $2,000 . They sent me receipts in German. I asked for English version and still waiting on it. I have been enterprise customer for over 20 years but may not be after this experience.

I didn’t like not getting the car I reserved because it was not at the airport and the agent giving me a bunch of BS. After a 9.5 hour flight I had to settle for an 8 passenger van instead of a 5 passenger Ford S Max. Then was charged a higher rate.

The car was nothing like the vehicle indicated on the reservation - it was not "equivalent." The folks at the office in Frankfurt were professional and helpful, but unapologetic about the vehicle and its condition. The car handled poorly - desite having only 23,000km on the odometer - but did get us to Geneva ultimately.

We rented a car for a month from FRA and the process was very easy. The rental drop off and pick up is within the terminal too so it convenient. They also offered full insurance coverage on the vehicle for a very reasonable price. The car was modern, clean and got 500 miles to the tank!
