They are trying to charge me almost 4,000.00 euros for a three day rental. My reservation quote was for 414.00 euros

In general, everything was great for this one month car rental. Clean, easy, loved the car. However, I had two times where I needed to reach Hertz and was either unable to do so or when I reached them they were profoundly unhelpful. If you have any emergencies or even just questions, do not expect excellent customer service - it appears you are on your own.

The two ladies at the rental counter were horrible. They managed to get two cars rented in an hour, while a single person at Europecar rented 10 and the AvIs people cleared out a line of 15. Will never rent from Hertz again. The whole operation at Paris airport needs to be revamped.

Very slow process in picking car up. Our agent was very helpful but it didn't look as though the other two agents were doing much of anything. Return was very hard to find - have to go inside to return the keys (at least in the Term 2 A-B-C-D lot) - and, again, very slow. But at least there were no unexpected charges
