I reserved an intermediate size SUV for a trip to Richmond VA to visit a sick family member. Upon arrival I was told I reserved an electric car, which I did not. The reservation was booked through Kayak and because I did not have the card that I allegedly made the res with through Kayak, I had to call the 800 number and “change” the rez and card on file! I was basically forced to take the electric car offered to me even though I did not reserve it nor did I want it. My trip to Virginia took over 17 hours because of stopping to charge the car!! I exchanged the car in Richmond so I did not have to endure the same problem on the way back home! The employees in Richmond were much nicer and went out of their way to help me! The Buffalo representatives, not so much!

Pick up bleu cheese chunks. My wife is losing her mind, still, three days later. She’s basically a crazy person, but she thinks robots would be way better at serving the needs of the frequent flyer. An hour wait seems excessive (Wife: “Felt like traversing the 3rd-to-last layer of Hell”). Further, if there’s a delay in securing the vehicle, the full rental agreement length should be honored. With an extra hour on the return, my wife could’ve had her frickin’ Buffalo wings from Duff’s. Peace. PS. Pick-up dude was great. And the whole experience was good overall. My wife really is obsessing over the standing-in-line part, but it wasn’t terrible. I can’t remember the last time renting a car was simple/smooth, so this is totally in line with what I’ve come to expect.

Awful. They gave me an EV that took two days to charge. No warning. Makes no sense for a 3 day rental car. Totally useless

Used kayak to order a rental from hertz in niagra falls. Somehow it got switched to Buffalo so me and all last 2 other families had to get ubers too and from the rental place that was 30 minutes from the airport
