Agents in the office were great. However, getting charged extra for dropping off 2 hours late when I called to be certain it was going to be fine dropping off late , did not sit well.

Upon landing, I had a call from Hertz saying there would not be a car available for me. No cars were available at the airport or the other in-town location. The front desk staffs tried to be kind, but it was obvious there simply were no cars available. Had to use Uber and Lyft to get where I was going and then rent a bike. So while in the big scheme of things, it is not earth shattering not sure I would use kayak or a third party affiliate again.

They didn’t have a car for me when I arrived. I had to wait nearly two hours. Eventually I got what I think was a staff members car that smelled like marijuana. I’m relatively easy going, but this was a terrible experience.

Great service. Easy pickup and dropoff. No hassle abou tpicking up and dropping off an hour early. Excellent value for enclosed dodge commercial van. 1/3 the cost of a smaller vehicle. THANK YOU!

The car was in poor condition. Front tires were overdue to be replaced. Rear wheel bearing noise. Interior panels not clean. Windshield still had bugs from last user. The car rattled At 53k this car rode like a rebuilt wreck. Pickup was poor. No choice on another auto despite being prepaid. Drop off was only good experience and that was excellent.

Why did Kayak make this reservation? They did not have any cars. Other people were there and they had no cars too. People were trying to rent uhaul trucks because they needed transportation. Many of us Ubered to the rental place including me only to find they did not have a car for us. I had to Uber to the airport and buy an airline ticket to fly out. I cancelled the car since there were none. I hope your records showed my rental was cancelled. I called Hertz to get it cancelled. I will be looking at my Visa bill to make sure you did not charge me. What a disaster. If this was an airline you would have had to bought my reservation back.

Location of pickup did not have the size car I had reserved, and savings to down grade was very little, ended up with a basic Corolla when I had reserved a full size sedan. First car provided smelled of cigarette smoke and had to be replaced. Second car was not as bad but did not smell that clean. Also had evidence of prior accident with badly dented front right bumper. Needed car for 6 hour drive so did not make issue, but if I had wanted reservation for several days, would not have been happy with what was provided.
