Don’t try to fix what’s not broken!
Everything worked out well with the car rental, except the original quote was in US dollars. This should be clarified when the rental is in Canada. Simply adding US$ beside the final quote would eliminate misunderstandings.
Budget did a bait and switch trying to rent me a small compact car when I had booked a compact suv. Had correct paperwork. They refused to honour the reservation wanting to charge me the same amount for a tiny car. I then rented a full size suv from National Car rental for $15 more instead!
All worked well, easy pickup/dropoff. Courtesy car dropoff for the next leg of our journey was really appreciated.
