I had to wait more than 40 minutes for the gentlemen at the Sixt Adana airport office to figure out how to fix a 'technical' problem, after having taken all my details, photocopied my credentials, etc. etc. Finally, things worked, I was told, and they asked to sign the agreement, which was not the same I had agreed upon when I reserved. They increased the rate a little (six euros), so I opted to ignore the increase, and signed all the necessary clauses. When I went to collect the car, I was asked again to provide all details of my passport and driver's license, as if the first guys did not do that, or they did not share the details with the car canopy people. Then I was surprised to see an additional 50% fee charged to my credit card and the gentleman at the Sixt counter called saying he had forgotten this charge. I declined this charge and asked to cancel the reservation and get full refund, it took me another 20 minutes for this to happen, only upon my insistence that they give me a print_screen of the cancellation, which they finally agreed to do. Luckily, I received full refund, but I will never deal with Sixt again nor will I rent a car in regional airports in Turkey again.
