Drop off was great Pick up was terrible No cars available even though we had a reservation
Poor service, 25 people on line to get their car and only 2 working, waited over and hour for the car
Pros:Staff was friendly when picking up the car.
Cons:The "SUV" was a modest sedan with a hatch-back. Thrifty "support" is very poor, as I needed to consider a change to my reservation and they were not helpful. Additionally, it was difficult to understand the person on the phone. I would not recommend using Thrifty for car rentals.
Car had no GPS, was higher mileage and somewhat tired. Rode well, good on fuel. Size worked out well.
We booked a vehicle to seat 7 people plus accommodate 4-5 pieces of luggage. At best it could seat 6 and luggage space extremely limited. The vehicle could have been cleaner inside. The attendant at the counter was very good in Palm Springs. Drop off was easy.
