Louie, the manager, is awesome. Avis is always great, never gives me any issues, accepts my debit card with an out of state DL, I'm military so that works out well. The check-in process is so easy and not cumbersome or complicated. Additionally, I needed to extend my rental agreement another week; too easy. I called them up and Louie helped me once again and made it a smooth event. Plus, it was the cheapest I could find that wouldn't charge me hundreds of dollars in additional fees. I received a great 4-door, nice rental car too. Never ever had any issues with Avis. I'm a loyal customer FOR-EVER.

This was my first time using Avis and it was the best rental car experience I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the location I used in San Antonio. It was a short walk from my River Walk hotel (near the Alamo) and the staff were great!

There were no cars available other than Teslas and hertz was unable to honor the kayak rate with the Tesla. It was a wasted Uber ride to this location as they claimed they were unable to contact me since I booked third party and they didn’t have my contact info! Bad experience

Difficult to find the place. Located in nondescript bottom floor in Marriott. Upon arrival we learned that we were assigned an electrict vehicle. This destroyed our plans to drive long distance due to charging time. No other cars were available!!! no disclosure that electric car is even a possibility.

I am writing about a recent experience I had with Hertz rental. I had rented a Tesla with the Alamo heights location. When I picked up the car, I noticed the dashboard said tire pressure low, and I brought it to your agents attention, but I was told that the sensor was broken. I asked if I could get another car or the sensor issue could be fixed, but they said that was the only car available and I had to drive a week with a broken tire sensor. For the week that I had the car, the tire pressure kept going down (from 29 to 21psi, when the standard is 41) and I had to stop multiple times to check the tire pressure and go back to the Alamo heights rental location to check whether the tire was indeed deflated. Your agents never fixed the broken sensor issue, and I had to drive worrying about a real or fake flat tire. This made our trip in San Antonio very stressful as we were traveling with a baby and safety was our priority. We kept worrying that we would be found with a flat tire in the middle of the road in a city far away from home. This experience made me have doubts about renting from Hertz in the future. When traveling to another city, I need a reliable, safe car more than at home. Hertz was not able to provide me with a reliable car.
