They refused to rent me a car because I did the booking on the same day. I spent time and money to go to the rental agency just to hear that they didn't have cars. They didn't care at all, offered no solution and I had to go back by myself also spending money and time. A completely unacceptable situation. Terrible experience both with Kayak and Hertz Never again

I will never use Kayak to rent a car. I requested that I get the car in Miami so that I could drive it down to Key West and drop it off at the location in Key West. Unfortunately the reservation did not reflect that when it was sent over to Hertz.

Pick up Miami: The pick up was convenient at the hotel though when trying to call to let them know I would be late, the number said they were closed. Come to find out there is no phone at that location. The car was ready for us when we arrived. The person who escorted us to the car and would "explain everything" walked part way into the garage and pointed to our vehicle and said "there it is" and went back into the hotel. The car smelled of cleaner but was not extremely clean, the inside of the windshield was streaked and made it difficult to see when driving into the sun. Drop off Orlando: The address took us to a hotel, sign directing us somewhere else, the signage was a little vague and there were no instructions of how to complete the transaction, when asked, an employee told us to just leave the keys and go. This was the first time renting in many years an it was a little stressful with not direction. Overall: we were satisfied with the rental and will look to Hertz again in the future, now that we know the process.

Paid some big bucks for tolls up front when only encountered one toll, after manager said there would be various tolls. BUT, didn't have to fillerup at the turn in!, a surprise, a good surprise !

The attempted upsell of insurance despite me having my own coverage was painful. They asked for a lot of my insurance details - after a long flight with screaming, hungry and tired kids-the pick up process was painful. Would have appreciated them offering the sunpass (toll pass) instead.

Fist of all. The car I booked was not the car I got. I reserved in online in advance., They didn’t not notified at all. I got there from the airport to pick the car, the staff was re y rude and not helpful at all.we decided to get another from them as we was already there. So we pick another from the parking lot only to be told it wasn’t clean and they can’t give it to us..so we pick another one as we loading our luggage in the car, the same car that we was told needed to be cleaned, we stood there and watch another customer got in and drove off SHM. They are very unprofessional, rude and have major attitude. I will never rent a car from enterprise again.
