The process to pick up/drop off the car was easy and smooth! The car we received was functionally fine and drove well, but there were minor outer dents and the front bumper slightly poking out that were somewhat minuses/concerning a bit. The main concern and issue I had was that I bought collision insurance via the 3rd party platform with Kayak to rent a car from Enterprise; however when I met up with the Enterprise rep, they told me the collision insurance I bought didn't transfer over so they had to confirm with me before giving me the insurance on their end. That was the only concern I experienced so I hope for those purchasing insurance via Kayak will be able to get it from the actual car vendor too.

Person at drop-off claiming to be the owner of the location - he did NOT give me his name - was incredibly intense and rude about having the car cleaned before drop off. The car was clean - we only used it for 6 hours - but he insisted we get it fully washed or we would be charged $450. As I tried to show how clean it was by pulling out the car mats, he touched me to pull me back from the car and told me to get off his lot. It was a terrible and intense 15 min experience and I believe I was trying to be taken advantage of (other people at drop off felt the same way). I eventually just asked for my receipt and he told me he wouldnt charge me the $450 after all. I think there may be some sort of scam (in concert with the carwash) going on or there is just something very different about this location. I will NEVER rent from there again and I may never rent from Avis again because of this experience.

When we arrived, they did not have the car we booked and claimed they never had it but never let us know. While not rude, they also did not seem to really be concerned about the issue either.

We rented a Ford Transit Van to carry the seven of us around Massachusetts during a seven day vacation. Best decision ever! Avis accommodated us above and beyond. Athough we picked the van up at Cambridge Street, we were provided the option to return it directly to the airport. This worked perfectly for our group. The van was clean and in great shape. More though, it got excellent gas mileage for us and was in great shape mechanically. Definitely ten stars for Avis!

Dropping off the vehicle was simple and the staff during the drop off was very nice.

The car was absolutely disgusting. None of the windows were clean, the center console was duct taped together- since it was hot, the duct tape was melted and left a stick residue everywhere. The car itself stunk like cigarettes and marijuana. One of the tires had a slow leak that the man assured me was incorrect, along with an ‘oil maintenance’ message that I was told was incorrect. Just a badly maintained vehicle and since I was traveling for the month, I was stuck with a smelly, dirty vehicle.
