Fantastic! Especially the gentleman who worked at the Budge counter in the Milwaukee airport. I don’t recall his name but he was such a pleasure to work with - so kind and professional. Anyway, I wanted to give him some kudos…just wish I could recall his name. Perhaps Budget can look up my rental in the system and determine who that agent was - and give him a raise. He deserves it.n Thank you!

After waiting over an hour in line, the first car I received had a major issue and sounded like the axle was going to break.

We picked up a car but it had been returned just 2 hours before. The car had not been cleaned, had white residue throughout the inside & had not been vacuumed. The car also had very squeaky breaks when backing up...and one of the tires kept losing air pressure. In the week I had it, I needed to fill the tire twice.

Jon, who was working at Hertz actually, was amazingly helpful and kind to me when I got in late. He is one of the most friendly people I’ve dealt with in my many years of traveling for work. I don’t want him to leave that desk, as he’s so wonderful at dealing with customers, but that man deserves a promotion. And if not that, a raise. Travelers are weary and tired and sometimes difficult. Jon could lead a very good team in dealing with those difficulties. Best, Jessamyn

The lady at the MKE counter told me there were no cars and she was closed, but I was able to get a reservation online, so she then said “I told you we didn’t have any cars, why did you do that…just a minute, I’ll ask my boss” I waited about another 15 min and then she said into the phone “oh great, it’s a one way”. She then said “well, I guess I have to give you this car” So I said, “oh, I’m sorry, you don’t sound happy” and she said, “well I’m losing a car ma’am”. I did finally get a car-but it took forever and she tried to make me feel bad for renting a car!

I work in hospitality and legit have never seen such racial profiling. The old white ladies at every counter and agency including Alamo are all programmed to give non white customers a hassle. I sat and saw white after white in and out within seconds. Speaks to the culture of oak creek, Gen Mitchell airport, and its predominately white staff! Black travelers and renters be advised that the agents here will profile you and give you a hard time and steeper soft holds on your cc. Do better!

If you’re making reservations through Kayak/or third party, don’t pay for their liability / collision coverage (Allianz Global Assistance) and wait to purchase those additional add-on’s when you pick up your rental! When I checked in at Avis to get my rental I was told the $11 I spent for the Allianz’s Global Assistance liability / collision wouldn’t cover the rental car if an accident / damage occurred and i needed to buy Avis liability coverage for an additional $33.

Vehicle REEKED of marijuana. Very disappointed it was even rented out that way! It needed an ozone treatment. (And I hope the prior renter was fined for returning it that way!!) Vehicle also did not feel safe for a Wisconsin winter. I was assigned a Nissan Armada when I rented a “Yukon or similar.” It had awful traction (didn’t look like all-weather tires!), slipped across the roads frequently, and felt like it had too high of a center of gravity. A Yukon or suburban would’ve been much safer. You should be more transparent on your website about the type of vehicles for a given class.

I was injured getting off of my plane. I was unable to drive and had to have someone come pick me up. I tried multiple times to cancel my car reservation and was unable to contact anyone to help. I am very I satisfied with the customer service process.

Our flight was a half hour late , when I received, with three other travelers that had reservation with Hertz, they were closed. All three of us had provide Hertz with flight info when we make our reservation. I had to spend $90 on a cab at midnight and then as a relative to drive me back the next morning . When I explain to the agent what happen her response was. oh well that happens. t the very least I feel Hertz should reimburse me for the $90 cab fair
