It was initially hard to find the location of the rental office however they were extremely helpful in explaining how to pick up the car and drop it off. Without their instruction, we would have been very lost!! Super easy drop off and staff was pleasant and responsive.

The car had some dings which was fine, but the lack of 3 of the 4 hubcaps (wheel covers) was odd and made it look worse than it was. But it was a good value for the long-term rental, and the car performed well and was very advantageous in both tight urban environments and on the many narrow town and rural roads I encountered. I never could figure out the radio but no mechanical problems at all.

We ended up having to switch to a larger vehicle and after all was said and done, and signed, we drove off with a BMW iX xDrive 40. Very spacious, trunk space was on the smaller average. Overall, it was a very comfrotable drive, and having carplay/android auto, it was super easy to setup and get going. The Sixt Firenze office was easy to get to from Santa Maria Novella station. The team at sixt were very nice and had us on the road in no time. I would definitely rent from Sixt Firenze again.

A horrible service! I rented a car for 1 day The gear of the car was very bad and dangerous! The car was in a dangerous condition!!! I drove back to the station and asked for a refund because it was too late for my trip They made me cancel my reservation and kept the money!!!! Not recommend at all!!! Do not rent a car there

The whole experience was good aside from trying to locate the drop off point in Rome. Very difficult to find. Even the employees couldn’t give correct directions to the drop off. The signs are nowhere to be found at the train station to help locate the drop off location.

I am in a legal dispute with Hertz over their over-billing practices. When I went to pick up my car at Dollar, I was sent to the Hertz desk. Hertz refused to rent me the Dollar car because I was in a dispute with Hertz. This left my family stranded. My reservation was with Dollar, not Hertz. As far as I am concerned, the Hertz company is unreliable and unethical. That is why I rented from Dollar not Hertz. Fortunately, I was able to rent a car from a European company not affiliated with Dollar or Hertz, otherwise my trip would have been a complete disaster.

Pickup in Florence was excellent, I had a very helpful service person who helped me decide which car to take. Ended up with a brand new car with only 8 km on it (we then put a problem free 1400 km on it over the next 10 days). Dropping off the car in Munich was confusing, there was no instructions about where to park or that I was to use a key drop box. I just saw an Avis sign on a parking garage so I left it in that garage and stumbled across a non-descript drop box while wondering around for a service counter. Searched my email and re-read the rental contracts to see if that was what I was supposed to do or not, but found no additional information.

The price was the best at this location but it was super tricky to find. Not marked clearly. Car was not washed since they were busy and that was ok. Felt that the terms were very tight and the return at a new spot was crazy making. Most agencies were closed on Sunday and it was unclear where to drop off hours or where to take keys. Ended up going to rail termini in Rome just to make sure someone could check me in and there were no directions on where to take the car for returns there. Wasting about an hour circling around. Trying to find a person at the booth etc. not knowing Italian was def a hindrance. The staff were great once we found them. Car was very nice too. Just felt hertz could do a better job at clearly communicating where to both pick and then RETURN aaa they can be two different locations.

When placing the rental there should have been specific instructions that the rental office was not at the same location as where the cars were. We rolled/carried our luggage to Ognissanti only to find out that the cars were back at the train station. Also, no instruction that you had to secure a numbered ticket to be waited as the line was out the door and no one stated to do so.
