Helpful efficient staff

Signage for the company at Adelaide airport was woeful! We walked between the terminal and the car area three times before another company staff member told us where the desk was situated. When we finally found the desk, we mentioned it to the staff member who said they are trying to get a sign made for customers to see. Not trying hard enough really. A4 with a texta pen would have been sufficient. The check in was very slow....due to the computer. We advised we would be needing the car for one less day and asked for a refund (prepaid). Staff advised we would have to go through the third party that we had booked with. A long story but looks like we will not be seeing that money again. The car was fine a Kona. Drove well no issues. We will not be using Alamo or the third party to book a car again. Sorry.

The car was clean and worked well. The signage of the airport 'office' is not visible enough. One of the staff didn't seem to know everything about his job, however the others were very friendly and professional.

The vehicle was clean, a pleasure to drive, staff explained the Toyota hybrid drive well, including traps for young players. When I returned the vehicle, there was a long line which was not a good look for them. I think that they should consider prioritising the returns, as new rentals were taking ages, while returns were flying through once they got served.

I booked online with price range and it was in American dollars, so I ended up paying a lot more then I wanted. I booked an Hyundai, which is what I drive at home. They didn't have one, so I was driving a car I was unfamiliar with. It had not navigation system. I was very stressed driving the car, and the girl at the check-in had no time to explain the car to me. Just handed me the key. I had to pay an extra $50 to be fully insured. Not impressed with Budget.

Initial charge to credit card was problematic (agency issue?), but no other issues at all. Smooth saling.
