I had set up the “skip the line” pickup, only to find the kiosk wasn’t working on my arrival. I’d recommend calling ahead to check. Car cleanliness was mediocre; I rented a minivan, and found crackers under the seats and juice box residue on the interior from a previous renter’s kids. My biggest recommendation is to CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! I had filled the gas tank past the “full” line, yet found a charge for 3 gallons at $4.62 a gallon. I called to complain, and they immediately refunded the charge. Overall a mediocre experience.

We had to wait in line for over an hour to get the car. The car we rented was not available so we got a larger car, which we didn't really needed. The inside of the car was clean but the windows were still dirty.

We had a 5pm vehicle reservation upon our arrival at CLT airport and didn't get our rental until 7:30pm. Staff was wildly understaffed and unprepared to meet not only our needs, but the needs of other customers waiting for their rental. Abysmal customer service.

It took the staff at least 30 minutes to find a car that they deemed convenient to rent me. I made a reservation a couple days in advance for a one-way rental. They seemed surprised when I arrived right on time for may reservation and went through their entire inventory to find a car they were willing to give me for the one-way trip. It was very annoying and took entirely too long, especially since I had a reservation that specified it was a one-way rental.

Poor experience. I paid with my reservation using affirm and when I went to pick up they would not accept it as a form of payment since affirm doesn't have a physical card to show them. So I had to use a different card and now have to also pay affirm since there is no easy way to refund the transaction. The people at hertz acted as if they had no idea what affirm was even after calling their customer service line. Terrible experience between kayak and hertz

We had a vehicle fail and needed a rental car to get home. We made a reservation over the phone and then paid for an Uber to the location. When we arrived, Enterprise refused to rent a vehicle to us because we couldn't return it to their location. They suggested we go to the airport 30 miles away. We made the reservation through Kayak. After another very expensive Uber ride to the airport, we were told there were no vehicles available since we couldn't return them to the airport (despite the reservation). Enterprise clearly doesn't care about their customers.

Although I had a reservation, they would not honor it at the desk. Kept referring to some archaic system and at least 3 times, I had to say ‘bottom line, do I have a car or not’. In the end, I was left stranded.

I tried multiple times to get in touch with someone at one of the branches with questions about my rental. I let it ring more than 20 minutes, four times. When I hit the option to rent a car, someone picked up right away. It was very frustrating that my local branch and the airport branch nearby had completely different vehicles and I had to drive thirty minutes to get my vehicle

Price gouging, charging airport fees but not in airport, Rates change after ask extension but never advised of this prior, charged card on file multiple times daily without authorization, say called never received, When I called could have advise of increasing rates not offered weekly best rates had to schedule another promotion online for better rate then declined insurance but first time was not a problem second had to use their insurance for $90 plus more which I thought was alot. Online showed insurance added $11 day should have been like $44. I didn't bother going back and forth with the pricing need transportation until mine out shop. Manager Owner information on business card never answered cell. Agent T. declined to provide corporate number stated have no clue what it is. Will be filing dispute with my financial institution and BBB.
