car was good and the type we had requested shuttle bus was no where near the every 5 minutes or so and was quite packed (not covid friendly) staff at hertz/budget was overwhelmed - too many customers, too few knowledgeable staff when returning car I asked about payment for 'toll by plate' - probably about $5 worth that I hadn't anticipated (no cash lanes) the clerk who was there at returns said he could take care of it right there.... and rang up a charge of $73 or so! - to cover 'all tolls for a week' - we said no thanks !- he said a bill would be mailed - why not just withhold what we owe from the $200 credit card deposit taken at the time of pick up? why should anyone try to sell an old couple a $70+ for a week of tolls - I mentioned it was a small amount- and perhaps a little convenience

I booked a standard sized SUV like a Pathfinder (7 passenger) but was given a 4 passenger much smaller SUV and it was a late pickup so yhere was no one there to complain to. Thrifty gave me $125 in coupons to use for my next rental.

They did not have the type car I rented. Only had 2 cars available. The one we got was 3 or 4 levels below what we reserved and paid for. The car was dirty, banged up and the service light was on saying it was 2000+ miles past service time! The USB port was broken so we could not use our gps on the phone without using up our battery with no way to re-charge. All in all the worst rental car experience we have ever had.

I switched to Avis, but what i had to return the vehicle after few weeks of my rental, and even though i paid for the whole month, yet i did not get any refund for the 12 days left. not sure if this is a policy at Avis but definitely this will be a question i have to ask any whether or not i will get my money back and if not, then i have to move on to another.

My experience with dollar was horrible. When I got there I wait 1 hour in line then when I got to the desk they told my the car I rented wasn’t there. I would have to wait 2-3 hours for the car and if I wanted a different car it would be $75 a day. The person at the desk was smiling and laughing and the manager refused to talk to me. They finally gave me a van for an extra $10 a day which was more than I was supposed to pay but they refused to let me leave with a vehicle otherwise. Then they van broke down immediately leaving the parking lot. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

We made a reservation months ago, but when we went to pick up the car, they told us there was a 1-2 hour wait until they’d have a car ready for us. We had been lucky to have on-time flights, but then ended up with a two-hour “delay” because of the car rental! :( Staff was friendly, car was good, and drop-off experience was quick and easy, so it wasn’t ALL bad, but not a great start! The rep at pick-up also tried to upswell big time with the $75 gas tank and told us we may not be able to get gas near by because places have been running out lately (spoiler alert: we filled up around the corner without a problem). Her explanation of the insurance coverage was confusing too.

I made a reservation in October of 2022. When I got to the Dollar Car Rental location they had my reservation but no available car. I was told to go sit on the bench outside with the other people who were also waiting for cars. No one came out to speak with any of us. After 2 hours I went back in asking for an update. Loved the car. Rav 4 was comfortable, easy to operate, clean, spacious and it ended up being an upgrade for me. Check out was lengthy. It was around 8 pm at PBI. There was a considerable wait as there were several people waiting in line to get cars. It was confusing because the paperwork was processed in the Enterprise office and there was no signage to indicate this. The National office was right there but was closed. Check in was very easy and quick.
