Pick up location did not have the vehicle requested. They called to inform me. which was nice. Pick up location was wrong. They gave me the number to call to fix it. Assured me not to be concerned as this mix up does happen often, and easy to fix. Called the number, instead of correcting, they said they have to cancel and rebook my reservation again which caused a significant price difference. When shared my disappointment, they gave some discount which out really explaining. Dismissive. Staff at pick up, did not know about the electric (Tesla) cars. Did not provide the L2 charging adaptor. Hertz 800 Phone system hangs up when you select to talk to the local staff option. Drove back to rental place to get an adaptor. Was told to go look for it in all the other tesla cars in the lot and see if I can find one. After 3rd vehicle I gave up. Drop off was fast. Hope you share this with Hertz.

I had inadvertently made a reset at another location but the attendant wouldn’t even acknowledge the issue or offer to rectify it. I ended up simply renting another car and absorbed the cost (I.e. threw my money away). Therefore, will not use Hertz again.

The car was literally wrecked, the front bumper hanging off, dented hood, scratched on all sides, huge coffee stains on every seat, smelled like cigarette smoke and had 64,000 miles on it. I felt like one of the employees gave me their car and kept my actual rental. There were no stickers on the car to indicate Hertz.

I made a reservation in februari to rent a car in august. I wanted to be sure that everything was in order in advance. When i came to the office of budget, they told me i couldn't ride to Wyoming. That's the policy of the company. They told me to go to the main office at the airport in Las Vegas. I made another busride for 1h15min. At the main office they told me the same story. I said you have to make this clear by the reservation. I didn't receive this information because i booked with kayak instead of on their website. The agent blamed me for not looking to the terms on their website. This is not my fold in my opinion. They have to make terms with their partners so people who want to make a reservation know the terms. This is a bad experience. I lost a full day searching for an afordable rental car by other companies. I cannot recommend to rent a car with budget.

I have tried to reach out. I called your representative to tell you to change the reservation to pick up at the airport. You did. Your representative never canceled the Budget rental!! I PAID TWICE!! What happened???? I would like a refund please.

The staff knew I would be dropping off the car around three or 4 o’clock, they close at 1 o’clock no big deal but they do not maintain their equipment and therefore do not have a dropbox for the keys and I leave town until Wednesday morning so what do I do with the car

Poor check in - vehicle wasn’t ready. EMPTY GAS TANK???!! Pushy on insurance. Vehicle smelled like cigarettes. Hood popped open on I-15. Couldn’t connect to Bluetooth. Very disappointed - considering the good service I typically get at Enterprise. Don’t recommend.

There was no car available when we went to pick up. They should have at least notified us on the day so that we didn’t have to take uber round trip. Besides, they somehow charged us cancelation fee (& insurance).

The rental I booked through Avis (across the street from where I was) told me after booking that it was actually a different location 20 minutes away so I had to take an Uber to the store. The car was supposed to be ready at 3 pm and when I got there, the store had makeshift numbers on the window showing that they had handwritten 3 pm as the closing time. I called Avis who would not help or take any responsibility for the misinformation and still being able to book. Then I called Kayak and they were closed. The next day I couldn’t get through. I ended up having to take an Uber back to where I started. I was out a $30 hold, plus two $30 Uber rides. I had to sit outside in 110° Las Vegas temps with my things on a sidewalk while I had to try to fix a miscommunication between two companies that had nothing to do with me. So I’m out hours of my time, about $100 and still didn’t have a rental, so I had to taxi the next two days. I’m extremely disappointed in the service for such a big city with lots of travel and I will never use Avis or Kayak again.

The Avis office owner was friendly enough; and gave us an upgrade when we found out that the SUV make/model we thought we had rented was not available. The price was fair. (The $11 per day private up to $75,000 Collision/Theft/Damage insurance was fair too!) The Chevy was nice looking and handles well; however, the engine is not powerful enough for the vehicle's weight. Non responsive when you really need to punch it...

Office hours at: 08:00 to 15:00 is kind of ridiculous! Not "User-Friendly" at all. Pick up takes a long time as there's only one person at the counter handling a line of customers. He could use some help...( -;
