The Hertz pick-up at Chicago-Midway Airport was very mismanaged. My wife and I had to wait almost an hour to pick up our car which we had already paid for in advance. The others in line in front of us said they had to wait similar amounts of time. At one point there were six families in line and the whole time there was only one Hertz staff member assisting all of us. When we were checking out our car at the front desk, our front staff member was generally courteous but they kept trying to sell us different add-ons, which felt incredibly manipulative. I am looking to avoid Hertz in the future.

Cons:Waited for over 45 minutes to get our car when we landed at midway airport. When dropping off, no one greeted us, so I had no idea that I was supposed to just leave the keys and go. The drop off point needs better visual instructions if no one is going to be there
