The staff was very friendly and flexible on pickup and drop off times.

We chose this group because of listed price. What was buried in the fine print was a requirement to purchase liability insurance that costed more than the rental itself. It was misleading to show the base price only—we would have gone with a different group had we known. If this is standard, then the listing should show that additional insurance fees may apply, and point the consumer directly to the added costs. It was misleading to be so obscure and hidden.

The cost of the rental ended up being twice what we were quoted through Kayak because of a mandatory insurance charge. Upon return they charged us an additional $40 for them to vacuum sand from the cars floor. Both pick up and return were painfully slow like the staff had never been through the process before. I would never recommend this to anyone. You failed us Kayak.

The hertz in Acapulco doesn’t except 3rd party’s. My family had a horrible experience and was charged 3x’s the amount. I will not be recommending hertz to anybody.

Hertz reserved a luxury car for me, upon arrival they did not have a luxury car available, They only had a compact car and tried to charge me the same as a luxury car. Additionally hertz was charging me $600 additional US dollars for a total of $1,100 for a 1 week rental. I went to save u car for a total of $400 per week rental for a VW Vento including full insurance. Plus Herrz representative was rude & unprofessional. Will never consider Hertz ever again.
